Rangers: Ages 8-9
In addition to participating in Traditional Camp Activities, Ranger campers will have the opportunity to spend one night located on camp property where they spend the night sleeping in a tent. The campsite is far enough away from the central part of camp to offer an exciting camping experience, but close enough to provide some security. Campers are asked to bring just essentials to the campsite. A sleeping bag is all that is needed for this trail. All other nights are spent in cabins.

Adventurers: Ages 10-11
In addition to participating in Traditional Camp Activities, Adventurers will have the option to participate in a one-night canoe trail around Waubee Lake. They are taught canoeing skills and safety before the trip. Campers choosing to take part in the canoe overnight will paddle around Waubee Lake late in the afternoon and tent overnight off camp property in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest area. During the overnight campers will help prepare the evening meal under staff supervision. Campers will help in all aspects of trail - set-up/take down of tents, wood gathering, fire making, meal preparation /clean-up, etc. The interest of four or more campers along with favorable weather conditions will all factor into the decision of an overnight experience. Campers may or may not have an overnight canoe experience. Recommended equipment for this program is: compact sleeping bag; wet shoes (ones that won't fall off in water, for example: shoes that tie or Tevas); swimming suit; rain gear; hat/bandanna for sun protection. Camp will supply PFDs (lifejackets) and all other necessary equipment.

Explorers: Ages 12-14
Traditional Camp Activities geared toward teen campers. Campers may decide to participate in an overnight canoe trip away from camp. Explorers campers will be given an option to choose to go on an overnight canoe trip. Six or more campers will need to express interest in an overnight canoe experience. Campers will participate in the trail preparation including but not limited to food choices, river site and location, equipment selection, etc…Weather conditions and camper interest will help determine if an overnight canoe trip will happen. Campers may or may not have an off-site overnight canoe experience. Potential river sites range from hour to several hours away from camp. Camp will provide all necessary equipment and transportation. Recommended equipment for this program is: compact sleeping bag; wet shoes (ones that won't fall off in water, for example: shoes that tie or Tevas); swimming suit; rain gear; hat/bandanna for sun protection. Counselor led late night teen activities and stargazing allows teen campers to explore all the fun at camp.
