FLOWERS & FARMS BUS TRIP
First stop is the John Michael Kohler Arts Center located in downtown Sheboygan. Together with a guide, you will stroll through the gardens at the Arts Center. Marvel at the variety of art and architecture that graces the grounds, take in the sweet scents of spring flowers in bloom, and experience the beauty of the many heirloom plants and trees that adorn the four-season gardens. Catch the 1,500 bluebells, flowering crabapples, redbuds, dogwoods and daffodils blooming in the spring. You’ll have time on your own to visit the art museum inside and browse the gift shop. Next head north along the shore of Lake Michigan to the brand NEW Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center. They have keyed in on a unique opportunity to lead the way in educating and engaging people with the first-ever Farm Center. Have a delicious farm-to-table lunch at the on-site cafe, which includes a hot sandwich buffet, salads, and other delicious sides. After lunch you’ll tour the birthing barn and possibly watch a birth in process, learn about sustainable farming practices that are dominating the agriculture industry and visit the hands-on museum!
