EXPLORE THE SHORE BUS TRIP
Your morning will start with a visit to the Rahr–West Art Museum. It is located in the Joseph Vilas Jr. House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This home is a significant example of Queen Anne Style architecture. Receive a guided tour and view its art collection. Continue on for quick stop at the Manitowoc Farmer’s Market where you’ll find over 70 vendors whose goal is to provide a quality outlet for purchasing locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, farm fresh meats, dairy products and baked goods. Next go aboard the SS Badger, she is the largest car ferry ever to sail Lake Michigan, and has provided a safe, fun, and reliable shortcut across the huge inland sea (Ludington, MI to Manitowoc, WI) for more than 60 years. You’ll enjoy a shoreline cruise along Manitowoc and Two Rivers aboard the huge car ferry. This trip includes a DJ to keep the spirit fun, a Party Buffet (featuring things like sandwiches, heavy appetizers, and fruit) and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available. Cruising time is scheduled from 2 to 4 PM. Head back to the Fox Cities thinking about the rich shoreline history and adventure offered by our very own Lake Michigan.
