Immerse yourself in the world of gaming with our cutting-edge facility featuring 20 stations with top-of-the-line gaming computers! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your gaming journey, our Tech Lab has something for everyone. Leagues, tournaments and Esports open-play. Game on!

Tech Lab Esports Open Play hours are an add-on to your YMCA of the Fox Cities membership. Prices are per month for Y members and grant unlimited access based on availability.

ESPORTS CAMPS
For youth ages 8-17, Esports camps push youth and teens to develop the social, strategic and problem-solving skills necessary to grow into thriving adults all in a safe, moderated and inclusive environment.

Participants in this camp enjoy a morning full of gaming in the Tech Lab at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA. We will introduce participants to all that the Tech Lab has to offer and run tournaments for different games as requested. In the afternoon, participants have the opportunity to learn about an engineering topic of the day through a program called Crunch Labs. They work in small groups to build one of their toys that could include things like a boomerang car, disc launcher, rocket revolver and more! Participants should bring their own lunch.

Participants will be dropped off at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA. We will be having a morning full of gaming, competitions, and fun in the Neenah-Menasha YMCA Tech Lab. In the afternoon, we will hop on a bus and go over to EdgeVR. Edge VR have top of the line virtual reality stations for the kids to use as well as a gaming arcade, Xbox room and lounge area. Afterwards, we will bus back to the Y where kids will be picked up by 4:30PM. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Are you interested in video game development? In the Y’s Video Game Building 101 week-long camp participants learn the basics of the game development program, Gamemaker. Throughout the span of this camp, we will watch educational videos and use the knowledge learned, along with the help of Y staff to build your very own video game and attach to your game development portfolio. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Join us for Let’s Build Minecraft! An exciting and engaging program where kids explore their creativity through the world of Minecraft! This class is designed for young builders to learn how to express their creativity and collaborate with others in a safe and structured space. Participants learn how to build structures in Minecraft, starting small with their own house and finishing with a large project of their choosing. Join us as we learn new skills and create structures from our imagination!

Esports Sampler is an exciting and engaging camp designed for participants of all skill levels who want to explore the dynamic world of Esports. Each day, participants have the opportunity to learn how to play a new game and compete in challenges against themselves and others in a fun and engaging environment. The goal of this program is to teach participants new skills, foster camaraderie, and encourage communication. Join us as we explore what video games have to offer!

Join us for an exciting week packed with games, Esports, swimming, and pure fun at Neenah-Menasha YMCA. Campers have a week filled with a diverse range of activities, from engaging in gym games to immersing themselves in both leisurely and competitive gaming experiences in our state-of-the-art Tech Lab. They’ll also have the opportunity to cool off and make a splash in our refreshing pools while enjoying quality time with their friends and some fun games and activities in our gyms! Fortnite League (PC)
Open to everyone ages 8-18. Mondays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Join us for our Fortnite League hosted in the Neenah-Menasha YMCA Tech Lab. This league will allow participants to put their skills to the test in a session-long competition against other players in our program. We will be providing mouse/keyboards & Xbox controllers for all participants. Players can bring their own controller if they wish but it is not required.

Let's Play! Esports (PC)
Open to everyone ages 8-18. Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Join us in the Neenah-Menasha YMCA Tech Lab for a fun evening of gaming with friends! Each night participants can play any game from the full library that we offer in the lab. We will also host mini-tournaments and other small challenges throughout the session. We will be providing mouse/keyboards & Xbox controllers for all participants. Players bring their own controller if they wish but it is not required.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate League (Switch)
Open to everyone ages 8-18. Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
The Super Smash Bros league is hosted in the Neenah-Menasha YMCA Tech Lab. This league will allow participants to put their skills to the test in a session-long competition against other players in our program. Participants must bring their own Nintendo Switch, a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, their charger, and joy-cons/controller. We also recommend bringing your docking station to hook up to the monitors!
NBA 2k26 League (Xbox)
Open to everyone ages 8-18. Saturdays from 10:00 AM-NOON.
Join us for competitive gaming and community fun in our NBA 2K26 League! Games are played every Saturday at the Y, featuring head-to-head matchups on the latest NBA 2K platform. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, this league is perfect for anyone who loves basketball and gaming. When you’re not in a matchup, you’ll have access to our computers.

Duos Fortnite Tournament
Saturdays | NOON-3:00 PM
Ages 8-18
Grab a friend and compete in our Fortnite tournament! Participants will be scored based on eliminations and placement. When registering, each player must register individually. In the registration, put your partner's name. Participants can sign up alone and be paired with a partner upon arrival. Prizes will be awarded to the top team. All equipment is provided by the YMCA. Gamers Night Out

Parents, enjoy a well-deserved evening to yourselves while we host an action-packed night for your kids! From Fortnite tournaments, Minecraft challenges and much more, there's something for every gamer to enjoy. Space is limited so register early! Minecraft Coding Class
Fridays | 6:00-8:00 PM
Ages 8-18
Unlock the power of creativity and problem-solving through coding in Minecraft! In this hands-on class, students will learn the fundamentals of programming using block-based and Python coding within the Minecraft Education platform. Participants will design interactive worlds, automate tasks and bring their ideas to life while exploring concepts like loops, conditionals and variables in a fun, game-based environment.
