Each year, Welcoming Week elevates the growing movement of communities that fully embrace new Americans and their contributions to the social fabric of our country.

Q: What is YMCA Welcoming Week?
A: Welcoming Week is an annual campaign and celebration to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants. Launched in 2012 by Welcoming America and its members, Welcoming Week provides individuals and communities the opportunity to proclaim welcoming values through events and local initiatives that foster mutual understanding between immigrants and non-immigrants, as well as deeper belonging for all. Enjoy one free week of access at our YMCA of the Fox Cities locations, including the Appleton YMCA, Apple Creek YMCA, Fox West YMCA, Heart of the Valley YMCA, Neenah-Menasha YMCA and Ogden YMCA and Valley Tennis Center.

A: To register for Welcoming Week online visit the registration link HERE. Welcoming Week is open to everyone ages 18-99, all children under the age of 18 must attend with an adult. If you prefer to register in person, visit the Member Service desk at one of the six YMCA of the Fox Cities locations and our team will help you get started.
