CAMP T COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT)
The Counselors in Training program or CIT welcomes teens ages 13-15 who want to learn leadership skills. Each week presents a new character trait and skill focus for participants, with checkpoints throughout the day to reflect and discuss. CITs will be integrated into the camp day leading activities and/or supporting counselors and leadership staff with various tasks. This experience focuses on having fun and growing as a young person! CITs should be able to participate in a group setting without major intervention by staff, have a high level of independence, a willingness to participate in learning objectives and grow as a leader, be interested in working with young children and have a great work ethic that can be nurtured.
