SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Until we meet again (hopefully sooner rather than later), may we encourage YOU with God's Word:

During this time of unthinkable change and elevated anxiety, the Y encourages you to continue your spiritual practices. We have gathered some resources we hope you find helpful during this time:

  • Check your local church for online services and resources. Many churches are streaming their weekly service as well as children's services.
  • Bible Project - offers 100% free Bible videos, podcasts and Bible resources to help people experience the story of the Bible.
  • National Christian Foundation - When we aren't able to connect with people in a traditional way, the National Christian Foundation provides "19 simple ways to love your neighbor right now."
  • Our Daily Bread - daily devotions, prayer requests, ministry updates and much more.

 

Through our mission, we are committed to helping you build a healthy spirit. The Y offers a variety of ways for you to further your spiritual development.

 

Prayer Boxes

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." - Isaiah 26:3

Do you have a prayer need? Our staff will faithfully pray for your need at our weekly prayer time. You can fill out an online prayer request card, or stop by any of our YMCA of the Fox Cities locations to fill out a prayer card and place it in a Prayer Box. Let us place you in our prayers!

Women's Bible Friendship Group: Appleton YMCA

Focusing on refreshing our faith and trust in God, this group meets on the first Friday of each month from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, October through May. Free to women of all ages, general public community members are also welcome to attend

Bible Study: Appleton YMCA

No prior Bible knowledge is needed for this informal Bible study class. Join the conversation with a facilitator from St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Please bring your own Bible or we can supply one for you.

Friends in Faith

In partnership with our local churches in the Fox Cities area, the Y offers a specially priced membership to all full-time clergy in the area. For more information, please EMAIL Laurie Kuether.
