Completion of 5K not required. The YMCA Summer School Age Program is held at both Janet Berry and Sandy Slope Elementary schools. Camp is built around weekly themes. Our program is built around the interests of the children which provides them with a fun, engaging, safe and creative environment for the summer. Campers get the opportunity to participate in open swim at the Appleton YMCA twice a week and six fieldtrips over the course of the summer.
Half days are available if your child is in summer school.

Important Information:
- Meals/Snacks - Participants must provide their own lunch and two snacks daily
- Optional Group Swim Lessons - offered weekly at the Appleton YMCA
- Offered weekly at the Appleton YMCA. A separate registration will be required. Fees include weekly lessons and transportation from off-site locations. For more information about how and when to register, please contact our Aquatics Department at 920.954.7640.

Week 1: June 8-12- Welcome to Camp!
Welcome to camp as we learn about the YMCA’s core values and kick off a summer of fun!
Week 2: June 15-19- Sports of all sorts!
Join us as we have some FIFA fun! Learn about different sports along with learning about the world cup happening this month!
Week 3: June 22-26- Gamer’s Week
During the week we will have projects themed around some popular video games!
Week 4: June 29-July 3- Holiday Palooza
It’s time to celebrate! Different holidays each day means we will celebrate every day this week!
Week 5: July 6-10 Wisconsin Week
Join us as we learn about our great state! This week we are going to a farm to learn about our most popular animal- the cow!

Week 6: July 13-17- Time traveler
Travel back into exciting eras with each day being something new! Wild West, Ancient Egypt, Medieval Times, Future Friday.

Week 7: July 20-24- Mad Scientist
Get ready to run some experiments this week as we test some of our favorite stem projects.
