A Safe, Fun Night Out for Kids
Youth and Teen Nights at the Y give kids a safe and exciting place to hang out, make new friends, and have a great time. Come with a group or show up on your own — either way, you’ll find plenty of activities, plenty of energy, and plenty of fun. Evenings typically include music, basketball, dodgeball, swimming, arts & crafts, video games, food, and more. Events are scheduled throughout the year. Check back for upcoming dates!

A Safe Space
Y staff are on-site throughout every event to make sure everyone feels safe, welcome, and included from the moment they walk in.
Tons of Activities
From swimming and sports to video games and dancing, there’s always something to do — whether you’re active or just want to hang out.
New Friends
Come alone or bring your crew. Youth & Teen Nights are a great way to meet new people and build friendships outside of school.
More Than Just Fun
Every Youth & Teen Night is designed to encourage positive choices, build confidence, and reinforce the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Members Save Every Time
Y Member: $5/person (membership card required).
General Public: $10/person.
Y members attend Youth & Teen Nights for just $5 per person — half the general public price. If your family isn’t yet a member, join today and start saving on events, programs, and everything the Y has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Youth & Teen Nights are drop-in evening events at the Y where kids can hang out, play sports, swim, dance, eat, and make friends in a safe and welcoming environment.
Fox West YMCA Youth Nights are for grades 2–5. Appleton YMCA Teen Nights are for grades 5–8.
Youth Nights are held at the Fox West YMCA. Teen Nights are held at the Appleton YMCA. Check back for upcoming event dates at each location.
Activities vary by event and location but typically include swimming, basketball, dodgeball, music, video games, arts & crafts, and food.
