Outdoor Recreation Excursions
Outdoor Recreation Excursions (formerly known as adult field trips) are local outings designed to explore all the amazing things the Fox Cities has to offer. We take the work out of planning, all you need to do is sign up and meet us there!
Please note that transportation is not provided for these trips, and it is your responsibility to meet at the trip location at the designated time.

Feathered Friends of Spring

Explore spring birds and discover who is nesting at the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve. All accessibility levels welcome. Meet at the Heckrodt Nature Center.

Celebrate the Solstice

Pause and reset with a solstice hike that weaves in mindful movement, reflection and art journaling. Reconnect and ground yourself in nature with this kick-start to summer. Meet at the Apple Creek YMCA.

Bicycle Tour Down the Wiowash Trail
Wednesday, August 5 | 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
It’s about the journey as much as the destination. We will head south (at pace of roughly 10-12 mph) on the Wiowash State Trail into Oshkosh. Once there, we will grab lunch at Fratellos on their outdoor patio and enjoy the waterfront. This 24-mile ride is perfect for riders who enjoy beautiful views while exploring the outdoors with others. Meet us (with your bicycle) at Trailhead Park in Larsen.

Adult Night at Camp Nan A Bo Sho
September 15-16
Ever wish you could experience summer camp as an adult? Join us this September for an elevated one‑night, two‑day retreat at Camp Nan A Bo Sho. Enjoy high ropes, boating, archery, upgraded home‑cooked meals, guided nature walks, outdoor education, and creative nature art and journaling. Unwind by the campfire along scenic Waubee Lake and head home refreshed, inspired, and connected.
