These competitions provide a platform for our dancers to shine, gain valuable stage experience, and receive constructive feedback from industry professionals. Being a part of our competition teams goes beyond the thrill of the competitions themselves. Dancers become part of a close-knit community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for dance. Our experienced instructors provide specialized training and guidance, pushing dancers to achieve their full potential and excel in their craft.

We celebrate dancers of all levels in Studio Y competition teams, competing in both recreational and competitive divisions. Teams are carefully crafted based on level, past competition team experience, and age group. Our diverse range of teams includes solos, duets, trios, and groups for students ages 6-18, covering a wide variety of styles such as ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop, jazz, and musical theatre.

Held at Neenah-Menasha YMCA. Pre-registration or fees are not required.

Please remember:

• Bring filled water bottles
• Bring ballet, lyrical or jazz shoes
• Wear athletic or dancewear

As part of our competition teams, dancers participate in two mandatory regional dance competitions, where they can showcase their talent and receive valuable feedback. Qualifying dancers even have the chance to attend nationals held in Wisconsin Dells. Additionally, all competition team dancers have the exciting opportunity to perform in our annual Studio Y Recital, held annually in the spring, where they can showcase their growth and achievements.
