FUN AND PHILANTHROPY
The Y-Service Club has met at the Appleton YMCA for over 60 years. We are a volunteer group of men and women, of all ages, races, faiths, and socio-economic levels. Members of the Y-Service Club volunteer their time and talents for Y events and programming as well as community events. We also hold two major fundraising events per year: A Christmas tree sale and a pancake breakfast. These fundraisers benefit Yprograms such as Youth in Government, Camp Hope - a special needs day camp, Camp Nan A Bo Sho - a summer resident camp, Active Older Adult programming, YMCA Child Care, the Y scholarship fund - for those with financial need, plus many more impact programs for youth, adults, and families.
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays, September - April, from 7:00-8:00 AM at the Appleton YMCA.
